Run Sweetheart Run

“A first date from hell.”

Cherie (Ella Balinska), a single mother in Los Angeles, only wants to get through a blind date her boss has arranged with a wealthy client, Ethan (Pilou Asbæk). Dinner is easy and charming, and then Ethan turns violent, and Cherie is out the door and running through the city streets. Shana Feste puts one woman against a man who will not stop, and the film says plainly that being believed can matter as much as getting away.
