Rupture

“Face your fears.”

The film begins in an ordinary American present, where Renee (Noomi Rapace), a single mother, is taken against her will and held by a group she cannot identify. Her captors, among them Terrence (Peter Stormare) and Dr. Nyman (Lesley Manville), will not tell her what they want, and she sets about getting out. Steven Shainberg keeps the camera tight on Rapace's face and the sealed rooms around her.
