“The journey begins.”

In 1868, the war that ended the old order is over, and Kenshin Himura (Takeru Satoh) walks the countryside with his sword turned backward so the blade cannot kill. He was an assassin once, and now he helps whoever needs it. Keishi Otomo has him land at the dojo of Kaoru Kamiya (Emi Takei), who is fighting to keep her father's school against a drug lord, and the two start to lean on each other.
