Russkies

“Sometimes the worst of enemies can become the best of friends.”

Danny (Joaquin Phoenix) and his friends, including Adam (Peter Billingsley), want the Florida summer to hold a real adventure instead of the usual bikes and dares. Then they find Mischa (Whip Hubley), a Russian sailor washed up on the coast, and decide to befriend him against everything their parents and the government have taught them. Rick Rosenthal's film puts a few kids on one side and the whole Cold War on the other.
