A poor, disabled orphan befriends Akash Verma (Salman Khan), the son of a wealthy businessman, and the two become close despite everything that separates them. Then both fall for Pooja Saxena (Madhuri Dixit), and Aman (Sanjay Dutt) has to decide how much of that loyalty he can keep. Lawrence D'Souza builds this around a simple idea, that a friendship can carry more love than anyone is willing to say aloud.
