Safe Haven

“You know it when you find it.”

A young woman steps off a bus in Southport, North Carolina, with no past she is willing to talk about. Katie (Julianne Hough) takes a quiet job and keeps to herself until she grows close to Alex (Josh Duhamel), a widower raising two children, and the secret she ran from starts to press on her. Lasse Hallström films the town in the easy, familiar way of a Nicholas Sparks adaptation.
