Safety

“The strength of family will build an unstoppable team.”

Ray McElrathbey (Jay Reeves) is a freshman safety at Clemson University, and he is hiding his younger brother in his dorm room. His home life has become too unsteady for the boy to stay, so Ray takes over as his guardian between practices and classes. Reginald Hudlin follows him as the team, the coaches, and his mother (Amanda Warren) all press in on a secret that is hard to keep.
