Somewhere in a department store, a scheme is being cooked up to get a man to scale the outside of a tall building, and the clerk who dreamed up the contest is the last person who wants to do it. Sam Taylor and Fred C. Newmeyer follow The Boy (Harold Lloyd) as the plan slips out of his hands and the climb lands on him, with The Girl (Mildred Davis) waiting below. Under all the gags is a plain idea: ordinary people will risk a great deal for a better life.
