Sage homme

Léopold (Melvin Boomer) wanted to be a doctor, but he failed the entrance exam and slid into midwifery school instead, telling no one how he got there. He is unsure he belongs in a classroom of almost entirely women, until he is placed under Nathalie (Karin Viard), a midwife with a fierce temper. Jennifer Devoldère keeps the camera close to the delivery rooms and lets the work itself, rather than any speech, change what Léopold thinks he is there to do.
