Nick (Saif Ali Khan) is a chef in Melbourne who likes his life loose and his commitments few. He moves in with Ambar (Preity Zinta), a radio host, on the understanding that they are not getting married. Siddharth Anand sets the two of them up in one flat under one rule, and then Ambar finds out she is pregnant, which puts their careers and the whole arrangement at risk.
