Salako

In a village in 1974, Salako (Kemal Sunal) falls hopelessly in love with Emine (Meral Zeren), the daughter of the local leader, Reşit Ağa (İhsan Yüce). She has already given her heart to an outlaw, and Atıf Yılmaz keeps Salako close to the ground, a man out of his depth in a place where everyone knows his business. Love here is a feeling you can want completely and still not be handed.
