Salomé

Salomé (Jessica Chastain) is the young stepdaughter of King Herod (Al Pacino), a girl who dances for him and is promised anything she wants, up to half his kingdom. She is drawn to John the Baptist (Kevin Anderson), a prisoner who turns her away for the sake of his god. Pacino adapts Oscar Wilde's play, and Chastain stands before her king with a demand that John's head be brought to her on a silver platter.
