Johnny Worricker (Bill Nighy), the former MI5 man, is on the run across Europe with Margot Tyrell (Helena Bonham Carter) while the net closes in. His only way out is to go home and face Prime Minister Alec Beasley (Ralph Fiennes). David Hare ends his Worricker trilogy here, and the film leaves Nighy and Bonham Carter on the move, the pair of them watched.
