“His Life. Our History.”

Sam Manekshaw (Vicky Kaushal) is an Indian Army officer whose career runs across decades, ending with his rise to Chief of the Army Staff during the 1971 war with Pakistan. He is the first officer in the army to be made Field Marshal. Meghna Gulzar follows him from young soldier to commander, with Silloo (Sanya Malhotra) beside him and Indira Gandhi (Fatima Sana Shaikh) waiting at the top.
