Samaritan

“25 years ago the world's greatest hero vanished.”

In a city where crime keeps climbing and the lights barely hold, thirteen-year-old Sam Cleary (Javon Walton) lives next door to Joe Smith (Sylvester Stallone), a reclusive man who keeps to himself. Sam is convinced his neighbor is Samaritan, the vigilante everyone says died twenty-five years ago, and he sets out to draw him from hiding. Julius Avery films it as a gritty, comic-book-sized story set among working-class streets.
