“Based On The Incredible True Story That Inspired Millions”

Ron Hall (Greg Kinnear) is an international art dealer whose marriage to Deborah (Renée Zellweger) is coming apart. Deborah has a dream that pulls them toward Denver (Djimon Hounsou), a homeless man with a dangerous reputation, and Ron agrees to befriend him to keep his wife. Michael Carney, directing his first feature, follows Ron as the friendship he started for Deborah's sake begins to cost him his certainty about who he is.
