Samsara

Tashi (Shawn Ku) has spent years as a Buddhist monk in the Himalayas, devoted to the path toward enlightenment. Then he meets Pema (Christy Chung Lai-Tai), and he has to decide whether he can keep following the way of the Buddha or choose the life he finds with her. Pan Nalin sets the story among the mountains, where the monastery and the valley below stand a short walk apart.
