Sanctuary

In the summer of 1968, fourteen-year-old Wolfgang Rosenkötter (Louis Hofmann) is sent away by his mother Ingrid (Katharina Lorenz) and stepfather Heinz (Uwe Bohm) to a church-run institution on the edge of a bog. Marc Brummund puts him under the eye of Hausvater Brockmann (Alexander Held) and Bruder Krapp (Max Riemelt). Wolfgang wants only to get out, and the longer he stays, the more it costs to keep wanting it.
