Santosh

“Nothing is more dangerous than following orders.”

In the rural badlands of Northern India, a government scheme lets the newly widowed Santosh Saini (Shahana Goswami) take over her dead husband's job as a police constable. Then a low-caste girl is found raped and murdered, and Santosh is pulled into the case under Inspector Sharma (Sunita Rajwar), a charismatic woman who runs her station on her own terms. Sandhya Suri keeps the camera close on Santosh in her uniform, the new badge and the stiff khaki still not hers.
