Satan's Slaves

“She comes back for the last child.”

Three years of a strange illness kept the Suwono mother in her bed, and when she dies, her family is left with a house that no longer feels empty. Rini (Tara Basro), her brothers and their father Bahri (Bront Palarae) wait as their dead mother starts coming back for her children. Joko Anwar builds a story about a family stretched thin by loss, and how grief can leave people open to whatever comes calling.
