“One Band. One Dream. One Summer.”

It's the summer after high school, and The Mystery, a young rock band, lands its first paying gig at an exclusive beach resort. A faded '60s songwriter, Martin Falcon (Liam Neeson), gets them hired, and lead singer Jennie Lee (Justine Bateman) is trying to decide between a music career and finishing school. Joan Freeman follows the band into romance and adventure, ending on Jennie Lee with a microphone and a stage.
