Saturday Night Fever

“Where do you go when the record is over...”

Tony Manero (John Travolta) is a young Italian-American in a working-class Brooklyn neighborhood whose Saturdays belong to the disco, where his moves make him somebody. The rest of the week is harder, and he meets Stephanie (Karen Lynn Gorney), who sees his life differently than he does. John Badham follows Tony through the family tension and the neighborhood's limits, and Tony starts to wonder if a dance floor is enough.
