Satya

“The Other Side of Truth”

Satya (J. D. Chakravarthi) comes to Mumbai from South India with one plan, to find a job and make a living. A jail cell changes that, because he is locked up for a crime he didn't commit and there meets Bhiku Mhatre (Manoj Bajpayee), a boss who takes him into his gang. Ram Gopal Varma shows how a city of strangers lets a man vanish, and how little it takes for the gang to become the only place that knows his name.
