“Indochina, 1959. The French left. The Americans have yet to arrive. But one man has declered war.”

Indochina, 1959, a lawless stretch of country run by Vietnamese warlords and European war criminals, with the Den-Dhin-Chan Labor Camp as its worst prison. Martin Tillman (Scott Adkins), an Irish former boxer, has made his name there fighting tournaments that rich criminals bet on, and he wants only to go home when his release comes due. Jesse V. Johnson stages the fights close and bruising, built for the fighters' bodies and not for spectacle.
