“Some Wounds Never Heal”

Joan Burrows (Angela Bettis) returns to her hometown for her niece Olympia's graduation, years after she believed she had killed the man who kidnapped and tormented her and her best friend. He is still alive, and he has been waiting for her to come back. Jed Weintrob keeps her small and wary in the scenes that follow, a woman who has never quite put the old fear down.
