Scared Stiff

(1953)Directed by George Marshall108 minComedy, Horror
“They're making a spook-tacle of themselves!”

A castle on an island off Cuba is said to be haunted, and no one can explain the ghost, the zombie or the killer who turn up once the treasure hunt starts. Larry Todd (Dean Martin), a nightclub singer, and his partner Myron Mertz (Jerry Lewis) have run from mobsters and landed there with the heiress Mary Carroll (Lizabeth Scott). George Marshall, who directed this story once before in 1940, stages the scares for laughs and leaves room for the songs.
