Scarlet Innocence

“Love, lust and obsession.”

Professor Hak-kyu (Jung Woo-sung) teaches at a university and is losing his sight, and he wants one thing to hold onto before the dark closes in. He finds it in Deok-ee (Esom), a young woman he cannot stop thinking about. Yim Pil-sung adapts the old Korean folktale Simcheongga into a modern story, and Hak-kyu keeps reaching for her while the world around him fades.
