Scent of a Woman

“Frank Slade has a plan. It includes a weekend of fast cars, the tango, high living and a loaded forty five. And Charlie is coming along for the ride.”

Charlie Simms (Chris O'Donnell), a scholarship kid at a private prep school, takes a Thanksgiving job minding a blind retired Army officer so he can afford the flight home to Oregon. The officer is Lt. Col. Frank Slade (Al Pacino), a cranky, depressed man who has plans of his own for the weekend. Martin Brest sends the two of them off together, the boy who needs the money and the man who wants nobody's help.
