School for Scoundrels

“Life's a game. Learn how to play.”

Roger Waddell (Jon Heder) reads parking meters for a living, and the woman he likes, Amanda (Jacinda Barrett), lives in his building. He signs up for a secret class in confidence run by Dr. P (Billy Bob Thornton), an egomaniac who has plenty of nerve to teach. Todd Phillips lets the pupil and the professor go after the same woman, and the film treats being a man's man as a contest.
