Schoolgirls

In Zaragoza in the early 1990s, eleven-year-old Celia (Andrea Fandos) lives with her mother Adela (Natalia de Molina) and attends a convent school run by nuns. Pilar Palomero starts the story when Brisa (Zoé Arnao), a confident new girl from Barcelona, joins Celia's class and brings talk of things the nuns never mention. Celia follows Brisa's lead, and the friendship opens a gap between what she is taught and what she begins to notice at home.
