“Be afraid. Be kind of afraid.”

The invitation to Spooky Island reaches Mystery Inc. (Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and one talking Great Dane) and they pile into the van for an amusement park where the attractions are not the only spooky part. Raja Gosnell sends Fred (Freddie Prinze Jr.) and Daphne (Sarah Michelle Gellar) in one direction while Velma (Linda Cardellini) and Shaggy (Matthew Lillard) chase clues in another. Shaggy and Scooby share a snack and a constant, nervous loyalty.
