Shaggy and Scooby-Doo (Scott Innes) are two friends who will follow a sandwich anywhere, and this time it leads the Mystery Gang to Oakhaven, Massachusetts. They have come to meet Ben Ravencroft (Tim Curry), a famous horror novelist, and to look into the rumor that his ancestor was a witch. Jim Stenstrum sets the stakes at a small town and a family name, with the gang's friendship riding on whatever turns up.
