Shaggy Rogers (Matthew Lillard) is a coward with a bottomless stomach, and a spa weekend for the gang is meant to be a rest from monsters. Then the Phantosaur turns up, a prehistoric creature said to guard treasure buried in secret desert caves, and Shaggy tries new-age hypnosis to make himself brave and less hungry. Ethan Spaulding keeps the animation bright and quick, with Scooby-Doo (Frank Welker) at Shaggy's side.
