Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

“An epic of epic epicness.”

Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera), a basement-dwelling bassist, wants to win a local battle of the bands and impress Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). There's one problem: Ramona's seven exes have formed a league, and Scott has to defeat them in combat to be with her. Edgar Wright turns the whole thing into a video-game fantasy, where punches land with arcade sound effects and the city itself becomes the playing field.
