Ten years after the first murders, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is living in hiding when a new killer emerges on a movie set in Hollywood. Detective Dewey Riley (David Arquette) and reporter Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) rejoin her to track the killer through a soundstage labyrinth where the line between reel and real keeps collapsing. Craven shoots the film as a descent into mirrors and false doors.
