Scum of the Earth

“Depraved. Demented. Loathsome. Nameless. Shameless. These are the Scum of the Earth!”

Kim Sherwood (Allison Louise Downe) is a teenager who is blackmailed into posing nude for a photographer working with Harmon Johnson (William Kerwin), a gang boss who sells pictures of frightened young women. Herschell Gordon Lewis made this in 1963, and it is credited as the first film in the "roughie" genre. Kim stands under the photographer's lights, Lang (Lawrence J. Aberwood) nearby, and the camera keeps looking at her.
