“Is there a hell?”

Junko Sato (Jun Fubuki) works as a psychic out of her home, and her husband Katsuhiko (Koji Yakusho) helps keep her business running. Then they come across a kidnapped girl, and rather than call the police, they decide to offer Junko's services and "find" her, a plan that could finally make them famous. Kiyoshi Kurosawa lets it all rest on that one lie, since a child's life depends on how long they can keep telling it.
