Seance on a Wet Afternoon

“Was it magic... Or murder they planned?”

Myra (Kim Stanley) holds seances in the sitting room of her house, and what she wants is to be known as a real medium. Her husband Bill (Richard Attenborough), asthmatic and short of work, hides nearby to help, and goes along with the plan she hatches to make her name. Bryan Forbes keeps the two of them in that house, where his obedience to her looks more and more like fear.
