Searching

“No one is lost without a trace.”

In Silicon Valley, David Kim (John Cho) has a 16-year-old daughter, Margot (Michelle La), who doesn't come home one night, and 37 hours into the police investigation led by Detective Vick (Debra Messing), nobody has a single lead. So David opens Margot's laptop and starts clicking through her messages and photos. Aneesh Chaganty keeps the whole story on screens, and the search turns into a father learning how little he has understood about his daughter.
