Sebastiane

Why would an emperor send his favourite captain to the edge of the empire? In Rome, AD 303, Diocletian strips Sebastian (Leonardo Treviglio) of his rank and posts him to a remote coastal outpost. Derek Jarman and Paul Humfress have the soldiers speak Latin throughout, and Sebastian refuses Severus (Barney James), the officer who wants him, holding to a Christian faith that no one at the outpost shares.
