Second Tour
A French presidential campaign is in full swing, and the front-runner is a fifty-year-old heir to a powerful family who has never held office. Mademoiselle Pove (Cécile de France), a political journalist demoted to the soccer pages, is sent to follow him, and his smoothness bothers her. She remembers a far less polished man, and Albert Dupontel, who also directs, plays him straight-faced. Pove starts digging, stubborn about a past everyone else has stopped noticing.
