In a fairy-tale kingdom run by a bureaucracy of its own, Hansel (Valery Smekalov) and Gretel (Irina Obrezkova) work as the top agents of the Secret Magic Control Agency. Their latest assignment sends them after the witch who lives in the Gingerbread House, a case that pulls in the King and a stepmother with plans of her own. Alexey Tsitsilin keeps the pair together at the center, Gretel and Hansel side by side, the Gingerbread House ahead of them.
