“When stranger knocks...”

Sasha (Sasha Hails), a young British mother alone with her baby daughter in a beach house on Ile d'Yeu, wants nothing more than a quiet summer while her husband is away on business. Then Tatiana (Marina de Van) pitches a tent in the yard, and Sasha lets her stay. François Ozon builds the story out of small, ordinary domestic moments, and what runs through them is how easily a lonely person opens her home to someone she does not know.
