“They kidnapped his son. Big mistake.”

Nero (Scott Adkins) is breaking into his house when armed men break into it first, and by the time they leave, his son Taylor (Matthew Garbacz) is gone. A man named Mzamo (Mario Van Peebles) calls with terms: kill the members of three rival crime syndicates, or the boy dies. Isaac Florentine sends Nero through each target on the Mexican coast, a former Special Forces soldier who came here to stop fighting.
