Self Reliance

“Surviving is all about the company you keep.”

Tommy (Jake Johnson) is a lonely guy stuck in a rut when strangers offer him a million dollars to play a game in which hunters try to kill him. The catch that makes it sound easy is that they can only attack while he is alone. Johnson, directing for the first time, plays it dry and deadpan, and Tommy finds himself pestering Maddy (Anna Kendrick) and anyone else willing to keep him company.
