Sennentuntschi: Curse of the Alps

“The hills are alive with the sounds of screaming”

The village policeman Sebastian Reusch (Nicholas Ofczarek) is the only one in a remote Swiss mountain village who takes in the strange woman who walks out of the hills in 1975. She will not say who she is, and there are hints she came down from the Höhenalp, where the herdsmen go to be with women by whatever means they can. Michael Steiner builds this from an old Alpine fable, and Roxane Mesquida plays her as a stranger the village cannot stop watching.
