September Says

July (Mia Tharia) and her older sister September (Pascale Kann) are close in a way that leaves little room for anyone else, speaking in a secret language and keeping the world at bay. After September is suspended from school, their mother Sheela (Rakhee Thakrar) moves the girls to a remote house on the Irish coast. Ariane Labed, making her directorial debut, adapts Daisy Johnson's novel Sisters and keeps the house and its small rooms pressing in on the family.
