Septembers of Shiraz

“Based on true events”

Isaac (Adrien Brody) is a secular Jewish gem dealer in Tehran in 1979, a man comfortable enough to believe the revolution will pass his family by. Wayne Blair follows him and his wife Farnez (Salma Hayek Pinault) as the new order begins to look at their wealth, their faith, and their friends. When the Komiteh comes to the house, the question is how much of the family Isaac can keep together.
