Serena

“Some loves can never let go.”

George Pemberton (Bradley Cooper) is a North Carolina timber baron who marries Serena (Jennifer Lawrence) in the late 1920s and brings her up into the mountains to build his company. She proves she can run loggers, hunt rattlesnakes and save a man's life in the wilderness, and Susanne Bier follows the two as their ambition grows. Everything they have built, and the marriage under it, is now at risk.
