Claude Verneuil (Christian Clavier) is a Catholic man of certain convictions who has raised his four children to marry within the faith. Then they announce their partners: a Jewish lawyer, a Muslim doctor, a Chinese Buddhist, and an atheist. Claude and his wife Marie (Chantal Lauby) scramble to adapt as the weddings pile up, each one a test of what they actually believe versus what they thought they did.
